Inspiration Workshop

Today I will be linking up with Gussy over at Gussy Sews again.
When the subject came up about flowers I thought, Oh that sounds great. My first thought was about our wedding day.

When you see a flower you used in your wedding day it reminds you of the stress, the excitement, the love, the joy... WHEN YOU WERE REALLY MAD?!??

See the bouquet above? That was mine! Beautiful I know. Not even close to what I ordered!!!
OK it is orange. That's the only thing that came close to what I wanted. I ordered a 115.00$ Bouquet of orange poppies. (not in my budget at all)

Source from pinterest

I was so mad. My mom and I started cutting pink roses out. UGH pink!
She had bought orange roses on sale at the store that we replaced the pink ones with.
I remeber freaking out that there was greenery in it. I said NO green anything!
I was ready to call the florist and let them have an earfull. After coming to terms that there was no time to change my flowers, I decided they were still very pretty and I could deal with it.
What I am getting at guys is that it was still beautiful. The flowers, the wedding, the poring rain,
my flower girl with all her orange flowers.

My silly sister and her flowery dress.
I look back on my hissy fit and think, Gezz it was just. flowers. You got what you wanted. To spend the rest of your life with the man you loved.

The flowers are beautiful! Isn't it funny how those little things can sometimes take over a moment and we forget what is really important? Lovely post! Thank you for the reminder :)

Thank you for this post.. My wedding cake was wrong and tasted like crap and for the last month and a half I've still been mad about it! But you're right, I did get what I want.. To spend the rest of my life with him.
