I'm not real sure how many girls would consider this "fun" but today we took out my husband Airboat to a local river and did a little bit of riding.
Some how I find it relaxing listening to the noise. Not sure why because its ridiculously loud! But the untouched Florida water and wildlife is really beautiful.
I thought it was going to be a little warmer today but it was actually kinda chilly when the sun decided to hide behind clouds once we started riding the boat.
We packed a few subs and stopped and ate lunch.
Then we headed to our favorite spot in the summer time called "The Big Blue"
Remember when I said it was a little chilly?! Well Bradley was crazy to want to go swimming! Not to mention that "Big Blue" is a natural spring that is 72 degrees year round. It feels great in the summer but today is was a whole 72 degrees outside!
After a chilly ride we went to the closest spring to the boat ramp and did a little fishing
....the boys didn't catch anything but all in all, very nice. This Momma needed some time off from chasing crazy Gauge around the house! Thanks Grammy for keeping him!!

looks like a great way to spend some quality family time to me. we spent the day outside too because it started at 65 degrees. but by late afternoon it was 45. crazy. the kids always handle the cold so much better than i do.
Wow, I think that would be fun. I'd rather go on a little warmer day though. That would be awesome to swim in the blue water, but I'm a big baby when it comes to fishes! lol

I can tell it's winter, the Cypress trees are brown. Great shots! Kids will always want to jump in cold water!
