Husband...

Jason's step dad came over to get Bradley for the next two days and take him to Crystal River to go "Crabbing" tonight and my dad came over and watched Gauge for me. I had a few hours all by myself to do my Christmas shopping. {Because you know I haven't even started!}

This is THE first year in a while that I have been able to go shopping and use my debit card and not really worry about what I was spending. I'm not saying I blew a bunch of money I'm just saying that I was able to buy for everyone that needed a gift and buy our children what they wanted and a few extra things. {and the sale a A.E. got me! I had to buy my self something! oops}

I am so thankful for my hubby for how hard he works. I know he probably doesn't realize this because I don't talk about "feelings" and get all "sappy" with him but he is so wonderful to me and the boys. He gets up every morning and works his arse of for us. This man has like 10 different jobs. He works for his dad doing drywall when there is drywall to be done. He owns his own lawn service, a pressure cleaning business and he does anything that anyone asks him to do. If it needs to be fixed, built and pays he is all over it. The past month has been exceptionally busy. He even worked last Saturday and he hasn't done that in forever. This busy work schedule could not have come at a better time then right before Christmas. Sunday morning can not get here fast enough! I can't wait to see everyone open the gift I picked out for them!

I just want to tell him thank you and that I love you for all that you do.

Being Strong

After reading THIS post be Lindsey I was inspired to tell you a little more about me. I will spare you all the depressing details but at the age of 18 I met Bradley's father. After 4 months of knowing each other I was pregnant. Not exactly what I had planned but he was coming! To make a long story short things didn't work out. I tried. And I tried again. I think he moved in and out about 5 times.

The life he wanted to live was not what I wanted for my precious boy. He got to see his dad every other weekend for a while and it terrified me to let him go where I could not control what was going on. I hate not having the power to keep him safe because his safety is all that matters to me. I was single for the most part till Bradley was almost 4. Being a single mom is one of the hardest thing that a woman can do. But you suck it up and do what you need to do your your children.

Bradley changed my life. I was having a blast going out and being free and knowing I could do whatever I wanted to. It was a blessing in disguise to have him. He made me change for the better.

I love you Bradley. And I am so happy that you now have Jason to be the dad

that your father can not be right now.

The Wedding

Jason and I got married on September 12th, 2009. We were working on a very small budget and wanted to get married on a beach but since nobody had the money to travel we settled for a wedding near a lake {Lake Weir}. I found an old historic building that wanted 400$ to rent right on the water! It was really a fun day.... besides the rain! The rain brought a little craziness since we were supposed to be married outside! We had a 15 minute break in the never ending clouds and rushed thought the ceremony! Here is how it all turned out!
