For the love of Pinterest.

So last week I posted "my fav's on Pinterest"
I want to do this every Monday. Why you ask? Well I love wasting spending my time there and don't lie but you do to.

I want to share with you my love for all things boots right now and the cute things to wear with them.

This chick is so cool! I love those boots. Her outfit is super easy.

I think I need these.

Ok, I'm not so sure I could rock this look. But I love it anyway.

I have a serious gray and mustard problem. Wish I had more clothes in those colors.
I like how this outfit had a tank top, here in Florida fall is still hot.

I have socks like this.

I hope this gives you some good boot ideas. See ya next week!

Birthday Night

On Friday I shared with you that I turned 27. My hubby was super sweet to watch the kid's for me while I spent some time with my mom. We went out for sushi for lunch followed by a little boot shopping.
I found some super cute boots at Famous Footwear but of course the didn't have my size in stock and I HAD to have some before dinner.
So on to the mall we went. I bought a pair of boots at Macy's. I ended up spending about 30 dollars less then if I would have bought the ones from Famous Footwear! That left room for new jeans!!! Two pairs really.
Thank you Jason for my new outfit.

I want to share a few pictures from my birthday night. I had a fabulous time with my friends! We went to dinner at Chilli's and dancing at Urban Cowboy (yee-haw).
Sorry for some blurry pictures but you get the point.

How do you spend your birthdays??

Oh yeah! Speaking of birthdays, Happy Birthday to my fabulous sister Kristin!! She is the "cook" over

Inspiration Workshop

Have you guys noticed how close Christmas is??
I want to share with you a TOP SECRET recipe for my grandpa's famous fruit cake!!!!
OMG! Do not freak out yet!!! It's super yummy and doesn't involve whatever those little different colored jellies are.

source via Pinterest

Poppo's Fruit Cake
1 lbs of Pecans chopped
1 lbs Gram Crackers crushed
1 lbs Raisins
1 lbs Coconut
1 lbs Cherries drained and cut in half (save juice)
1 can of sweetened condensed milk

Put all ingredients in a big bowl except the cherry juice and mix really good with your hands. If it seems dry add a little bit of cherry juice till its nice and sticky! Put a layer in a meatloaf pan or whatever kind of pan you want to. Then cover with plastic wrap and pound it with a jar or cup or whatever you want till it is packed really good. Then repeat till your pan is filled up. Then put in the refrigerator till cold and take out of your pan, cut, then enjoy!

I really wish I had pictures to show every one of the actual fruit cake, but since I haven't made it in almost a year I cant supply you with one today. You must try this out! It tastes like a big yummy gram cracker! Come back and let me know how you liked it.

P.S. Don't tell my momma that I gave this out!!!! (shhhh)

Question's

I have been struggling a lot the past few days trying to make a decision about my Etsy shop. I have been making headbands long before I knew what Etsy even was. I was browsing through all the talented shops that are our there and I found myself asking many questions.

Will people buy My product? (Because there are thousands of others just like it)

Will people think I'm a copycat?

Is it more trouble then its worth?

Should I list this?

Should I list that?

Putting yourself out there on the Internet is very hard to do. Anyone can send you there thoughts and feeling. They could be bad or they may be good. How do you deal when you get bad feedback?
Do you stand up for your product? Do you defend yourself? I love to be able to create fun handmade goodies for my friends and family and see how much they love it. But how do you take something that is a hobby and turn it into a business?? I guess I have all the time in the world to make a decision on the subject. But I can only hope that one day it will turn into a successful biz like Just.Lovely.Things but for now I'm happy with taking care of my family and home and sharing my stories with you through this blog.

I would love to hear if you or anyone you know has struggled with any of these problems and how you over came it.

*New to Etsy*

Wish me luck everyone as I adventure off to the land of handmade greatness. I have been wanting to open an online store for some time now. Today I listed my first item on Etsy, it's not something I will be selling many of either. I guess you could say that it was a hobby of mine for one whole month.

I need to sell these items to make room for new items! Since it is not something I will be selling many of, they are marked pretty cheep. Tomarrow I will list the item in the picture and
next will come some hair pretties. As soon as I figure out what I'm doing.

5 of my fav's on Pinterest.

For those of you that do not know what Pinterest  is, it's a totally addicting website that allows you to "pin" all your favorite things from the web and keep it all one one spot. These are my favorite things from last week

I love this DIY coffee table.
Go check out Liz Marie Blog and make one for you living room!

Some times I just need a reminder

I really love how you can find new ways to do your hair and make up.
When I saw this I new I was going to try it!
A wavy hair tutorial, um yes please. I have super thick hair that I can never do anything to, or so that's what I thought. Until pinterest came along and smashed all those thoughts.
Go here and learn how to get pretty sexy hair to!

Now the last thing I need is another baby. But if one decided to show up tomorrow this is exactly what I would need to do with yet another crib.
I love the colors that are in this room. You can check out other cute rooms for boy's and girl's to share here.

With Christmas right around the corner I keep thinking to myself, what am I going to do with a Christmas tree when I have a baby running around?
This is much better then my idea of just putting one on a table. Not to mentions the shutters are super cute to.

So that's it for now. Don't forget to follow me on Pinterest so you can see more of what I love. Need an invite? Feel free to comment under this with your email address.

With fall, comes the corn maze.

There is a lot of reason's why I love fall.  I would say the pretty color's in the tree's would be first on my list but here in Florida we don't have any of that. So instead Ill skip to going to the fabulous Coon Hallow corn maze. I love how they decorate, pumpkins everywhere and fake colored leaves. It all just makes me want to take a million photo's of my kiddo's. And so that's what I did.

The maze was alot of fun. My momma and Bradley took one way and my sister Amy, the baby and I took another. We gave our self 30 minutes to see who could find the most check points in the maze. After 30 minutes we ran into each other and had found all the same numbers. So we called it a tie. All in all a wonderful day spent with the ones I love. If you are ever in the area your should check it out.

1890's festival

Today was so beautiful out and I was very happy to spend almost all of it outside. I took the kiddo's over to Grammy's house at the ripe 'ol hour of 7:00am and headed off to pick up one of my besties for a fun filled morning up in Macintosh. Every year there is over 1000 vendors selling all types of goodies from antiques to fresh squeezed lemonade.

Now I think Olivia understands why I left my kiddos at Grammy's house. Steering a massive stroller through a sea of people is not what I like to call happy shopping. *Sorry Olivia for posting the crappy picture but it's all I had*
I seriously love this town. How cute is that church? And the house's! Don't get me started. I all ready told my hubby that I want to live there. I don't care how far the grocery stores are! Ohhhh just to sit on my porch and gawk at all the big live oaks every afternoon is a beautiful thought.

Kids

This is Bradley

He is my first born. He is 7 and 1/2. He loves anything he can ride on that has a motor, playing baseball, and is the best big brother a momma could ask for.

Next meet my other baby Gauge.

This little boy just turned one. He loves his Binky and likes to crawl on everything.

So these are my kids. What more could this momma ask for? Whats that you say? A girl? Yeah, that could happen..... one day. For now I have my hands full taking care of these guys and I couldn't be happier.

I'm glad you came by.
